A checklist of superfoods to keep you cancer-free

 

1. Garlic is bae

The active component, allicin, is the secret ingredient in garlic that kills cancer cells, becoming your saviour from certain types of cancer like stomach, prostrate and colorectal cancer. Now, howzzat? Apart from garlic, some other Allium vegetables such as onion, also does the same trick for you. It is recommended that you include 2 to 5 grams of fresh garlic in your daily diet. It’s believed to be closely associated with the risk reduction of cancer like colorectal cancer, oral cancer and esophageal cancer. Other than that, it is also believed to reduce the number of tumours. All that’s left to do is put a ring on it!

 

4. Flex it like Flaxseeds

While you enjoy the crunch of flaxseeds, rest assured that you are incorporating a healthy dose of fibre and good or unsaturated fat in your regular diet. Flaxseeds are known to kill cancer cells and restrict the growth of cancer in the prostrate, breasts and colorectum area. Sprinkle some flaxseeds in your salad, breakfast cereal, smoothies or use it as an ingredient for dessert to flex those cancer-fighting muscles.

This plant-based superfood is a rich source of protein, good fat, vitamin and minerals. It comprises of antioxidants known as isoflavones, which appears like estrogen. It is present in miracle foods like tofu, soy milk, soy nuts and others. These are known for controlling low-density lipoprotein (LDL), heart diseases, obesity and bad cholesterol. It is believed to decrease the risk of breast cancer as it comprises of isoflavones. Easy-peasy, lemon squeezy.
